I have collected 10 stamps for the 2011 card and decided to use yesterday.I was told it was invalid as it expired on 31/12/2011.But your card has no expiry date stated on it! And I was told to refer to the announcement shown at the counter. And how would we consumer knows when you’ll make an announcement when I have it fully stamped in September but didn’t visit any of your store till now?? It is not a customer fault that your card did not state an expiry date.Even if you’ve decided to change your existing system with a new card with expiry date, your company should HONOUR the previous cards issued. What you’re doing now is very unethical and not sincere of your offer.
Dear Amy, we apologise on the frustrations encountered. Notices on the card validity have been put up across all stores since July 2011, as well as on Facebook fan page, another announcement has been made in October. We regret that the info has not been able to reach to you and we hope that your kind support will continue to extend towards us.
I do agreed with Amy because I also learnt this recently. I meant if you going to imposed this kind of policy, you should have your loyalty card printed with the expiry date. Although we lived in the technology era, but no all customers will get themselves online frequently whether to facebook or your website. Furthermore, facebook will only show certain updates or recent stories only if we have commented some of the respective pages’ activity. I do feel disappointed on this as well because wasted my effort, time and money to collect all those stamps!
