1. What is the weight for 1 dough pack?
1 pack is 600g, consists of 6 different flavours and each flavour is 100g. Average weight of 1 piece of tang yuan ball is 6g .Total pieces can be made from 1 pack is around 100pcs, for 10 person portion.

2. How to order Snowflake Taroballs Dough Pack?
You can place order directly from any Snowflake store (Pavilion KL, Mid Valley Megamall, Sunway Pyramid and Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park), or from our online page at order.snowflake.com.my . Click the order online button at home page and the ordering form will guide you step by step.

Pre-order at Snowflake store:
Step 1: Walk in to any Snowflake store
Step 2: Place your order with cashier and fill in a form (ordering date, name, phone no., product and quantity, collection date)
Step 3: Proceed to payment by cash / eWallet (Boost, Touch ‘n Go, GrabPay, Maybank QR) / credit card / debit card
Step 4: Come back to the same store that you placed order and collect your order on your selected collection date by showing your receipt to the cashier

Online ordering:
Step 1: Click the link order.snowflake.com.my
Step 2: Select “Tang Yuan Order”
Step 3: Add your order by clicking “Add to Cart” button
Step 4: Click “View Cart” and select the quantity
Step 5: Proceed to checkout
Step 6: Select your collection method (pickup at store or delivery), date, time and pickup location
Step 7: Click “Next” and fill in billing and shipping information
Step 8: Click ” Next” to ordering summary page. Tick T&C and click “Place Order”
Step 9: The page will directing you to payment page, select FPX, eWallet or pay by Credit Card and proceed to payment
Step 10. Upon collection (for pickup at store option), please show your order confirmation number (in the email) to our staff to collect your order

All pre-orders are with 4 days order lead time prior to collection for store collection and for delivery (*no delivery service on Sunday for online pre-order) .

You can also reach us by placing order directly on GrabFood App, which will available from 24th Nov til 21st Dec 2020. All orders on GrabFood will be delivered right after order is placed. While stocks last.

3. What is the ordering and collection period?
Pre-order at stores:
Outlet pre-order period: 13rd Nov – 14th Dec 2020
Collection period: 24th Nov – 21st Dec 2020

Online ordering:
Online pre-order period: 13th Nov – 18th Dec 2020
Online collection period (at stores): 24th Nov – 21st Dec 2020
Online collection period (lalamove delivery): 24th – 28th Nov, 30th Nov – 5th Dec, 7th -12th Dec, 14th – 19th Dec, 21st Dec 2020 (No delivery service on Sunday)

GrabFood ordering:
Grab delivery: 24th Nov – 21st Dec 2020

Cash and Carry at stores:
Purchase and collect at stores: 15th Dec – 21st Dec 2020

4. When and How to collect?
i. Self collection at Snowflake stores
– Self-collect at the same store where you had placed your order or at the store you had selected in your online purchase. You can choose to collect starting 24th Nov – 21st Dec 2020 during store operating hours.
– Upon collection at the store, please present the hard copy/ in phone of your order confirmation email for verification purpose.

ii. GrabFood delivery
– You can receive your order at your door step by purchasing thru GrabFood App. Same day (if you schedule your delivery time) or immediate delivery service is available from four of our outlets within 5km travel distance radius.

iii. Online ordering through Snowflake’s webpage
– You can receive your order at your door step by choosing the delivery service option with extra charges based on your area with 4 days lead time (no delivery service on Sunday).
– Our delivery service is only available for KL, Selangor, Putrajaya and Klang except Banting, Jenjarom and Hulu Langat area. You can choose the delivery date on Monday ~ Saturday from 24th – 28th Nov, 30th Nov – 5th Dec, 7th -12th Dec, 14th – 19th Dec, 21st Dec 2020.

5. How to pay?
Pre-order and cash & carry at the Snowflake stores – cash / eWallet (Boost, Touch ‘n Go, GrabPay, Maybank QR) / credit card / debit card

Grab order – payment through GrabFood App

Online order – FPX banking, eWallet and credit card ( Remark: there will be no refund of payment once your order is confirmed and no refund if there is an excess payment)

6. How do I know if my order has been confirmed?
Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation email (with your purchase summary and order number) at your registered email, you may check your junk or spam folder as the email might not sent to inbox. You may contact us through Whatsapp Live Chat at online ordering page if you did not receive any order confirmation email from us.

7. What would be the lead time for ordering?
Lead time is at least 4 days to process all the pre-order. There is no lead time starting from 24th Nov 2020 as Snowflake Taroballs Dough Pack will be available on GrabFood App (with additonal delivery charge from GrabFood) and 15th Dec 2020 because all of our stores (Pavilion, Mid Valley, Kuchai Lama, Sunway Pyramid) start to have Cash &Carry.

8. Can I order today and collect on the same day or collect on the next day?
For customer who would like to choose outlet pre-order / online pre-order:
– No, we need at least 4 days lead time to process your pre-order as we make-to-order and our products are 100% natural without artificial preservative.

For customer who would like to order through GrabFood (available from 24th Nov – 21st Dec 2020 only, while stocks last):
– Yes, you can order through GrabFood App with extra delivery charges and receive your order right after order is placed.

For customer who would like to choose cash and carry at Snowflake store (available from 15th Dec – 21st Dec 2020 only, while stocks last):
– Yes, you can purchase at any Snowflake store and receive your order on the same day, subject to stocks availability.”

9. Can I place order and request delivery to Penang (or any other states except Klang Valley)?
Sorry, we currently only deliver to selected area in Klang Valley (most of the major area in Klang Valley except Banting, Jenjarom and Hulu Langat area). Our span of delivery coverage area is limited due to our delivery service provider has set their delivery coverage area in Klang Valley, on the other hand, we want to ensure the quality of our products.

Classic Pack & Treasure Pack

1. What’s Special about Snowflake Taroballs Pack?

Here are our promise to you:
1) No artificial colouring and preservative;
2) All beautiful dough colour are produced using raw natural ingredients with variety of nutrition (Yam- White, Baked Sweet Potato- Orange, Beetroot- Pink, Black Sesame- Grey, Matcha- Green, Okinawan Sweet Potato -Purple). You can have all 6 flavours in just a single pack.
3) Only launch once every year with limited stock due to it is handmade.
4) You can DIY Tang Yuan at home with your family especially kids. Different pattern of Tang Yuan pattern can be created. Kids will surely love it! It is more fun when you can cook it with them together at home.

2. What’s in the Taroballs Classic Pack?
Taroballs Classic Pack has 6 bricks of 100% natural Taroballs dough namely:
1) Okinawan Sweet Potato (Purple)
2) Banlong Taro (Yam – white)
3) Sweet Potato (Orange)
4) Roasted Sesame (Grey)
5) Japanese Matcha (Green)
6) Beet Root (Pink)

3. What is the differences between Classic pack and Treasure pack?
1. Classic Pack
This pack come with 1 pack of 6 flavours dough bricks only. At only RM42.90, you can prepare a portion for up to 10 people which is great value not to be missed.

2. Treasure Pack
This pack come with 1 pack of 6 flavours dough bricks and additional 1 pack of Snowflake Winter Treasure Dessert Soup (Tong Sui). Snowflake winter treasure syrup cooked together with aged ginger, pandan leaf, red date, and longan produce the sweet tasty dessert soup with nice aroma. It goes best with your handmade fresh Taroballs. At only RM46.90, you can prepare a portion up to 10 people which is great value not to be missed. Even the 1st timer can prepare it with the simple instructions.

4. How to store?
1. Taroballs Classic Pack (dough pack)
Store the pack in chiller (0-4°C) within 1 hour after collection until use. You are advised to consume it within the expiry date.
Once open, you can roll the dough into balls and cook to consume on the same day OR roll the balance dough into balls and freeze (-18°C) the uncooked rolled balls immediately for later consumption.

2. Winter Treasure Soup Pack
Store the dough pack and soup pack in chiller (0-4°C) within 1 hour after collection until use. You are advised to consume it within the expiry date.
Once open, you can roll the dough into balls and cook to consume on the same day OR roll the balance dough into balls and freeze (-18°C) the uncooked rolled balls immediately.”

5. Is it better to cook the soup and ball separate?
Yes, cook the balls in separate pot of boiling water and toss it into the dessert soup when is ready, because it’s better to enjoy with clear soup.

6. How long is the fresh period?
The fresh period is at least 6 days when you collected the packs from our store.

The expiry date is labelled on the packaging.

It can last for 1 month if you roll the dough into balls and keep in the freezer (-18°C).

7. Can I purchase it by early of Dec and keep it til Winter Solstice Festival?
Yes, you can keep the product til Winter Solstice Festival provided you roll the dough into balls once you received the product and then keep in freezer (-18°C) after rolled. The rolled balls can last for 1 month in freezer (-18°C).
